Edit Existing Jobs Via CLI

I may be missing it, but would it be possible to add the ability to edit existing jobs via the CLI? A lot of times the jobs I create end up copying from the same location, but the destination is different.

I've played with the idea of deleting jobs once they've finished so I don't end up with a lot of jobs, but when doing that the history for those jobs is also deleted.
