Preserve Folder Timetamp

We are running into issues with robocopy not copying the folder time stamps regardless of which parameters we use. We are in dire need to migrate our file share. Is your software capable to maintain the folder time stamp on the destination to match the source?

Hello @mrussinovich thank you for reaching out. This is a great question. We will copy the folder timestamps just fine as they are in the source. This is a common question we receive from customers who use other file\folder copying tools as most tools in the market are unable to preserve the folder time stamp.

GS RichCopy 360 (standard and enterprise) can preserve the folder time stamp with no issues. This was a feature we built back in our initial releases and works as expected.
Please see attached image on how simple it is to preserve folder time stamp when doing data migration.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Hello Bob,
This option works fine. When the job runs, it will set the time stamps on these folders towards the end of the job.
Also, when the job reaches 98%, do not open the destination as if you open the destination (windows explorer) then it could prevent us from setting the timestamp.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.
